Overview

The Facilities Maintenance and Operations Technician completes maintenance, repair, and facility support work for assigned buildings and grounds. The role is responsible for day-to-day work order execution, preventive maintenance activities, and assigned projects through the work order management system. Additionally, the Facilities Maintenance and Operations Technician helps maintain safe, functional, and well-maintained facilities by completing work in accordance with established standards, procedures, and safety requirements.

 

This position is located at 14002 E. 21st. St. Tulsa, OK 74134. Working hours will be Monday through Friday with an 8 hour set schedule work day.

Responsibilities

  • Execute day-to-day corrective and preventive maintenance, work orders, facility projects, and assigned repairs in accordance with specifications to maintain safe, functional, and well-maintained facilities  
  • Perform plumbing, carpentry, painting, pressure washing, electrical, and general maintenance repairs to restore building systems, equipment, and facility assets  
  • Conduct furniture moves, facility setups, and related support activities to support business operations and occupancy requirements  
  • Maintain grounds through landscaping, debris removal, snow removal, and salt distribution activities to provide safe and accessible properties  
  • Inspect assigned facility, equipment, and work areas to efficiently identify maintenance needs and address issues  
  • Document completed work orders, repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities to maintain accurate maintenance records and support work tracking  
  • Operate maintenance tools, equipment, and vehicles in accordance with established procedures to perform assigned work safely and effectively  
  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas, equipment, and materials by adhering to established safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Minor copier repair/changing toner
  • Monitor/set-up conference rooms and other common areas

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • A minimum of 2 years of commercial office building maintenance experience (including minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, ground keeping, pressure washing and custodial experience)
  • Currently reside in Tulsa or the surrounding area
  • Ability to lift up to 80lbs is required
  • Availability to work an average of eight Saturdays per year, for scheduled generator testing is required
  • Flexibility to be on call for both scheduled and unscheduled building maintenance issues is required
  • Maintenance or related field bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Relevant Maintenance or related certification from an accredited trade school preferred
  • Apart from religious observations, must be able to work Monday-Friday 40 hours/ work week
  • Must be willing to accept starting pay of $22.31/hour.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • IT experience is a plus
