This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, which includes the ability to work from home, while also requiring to be in person as needed at our Lakeside and/or Clayton Corporate HQ campus locations in St. Louis, Missouri.

Responsibilities

The Vehicle Solutions team focuses on the development of products (UI and APIs) for the Fleet Lifecycle from Fleet Planning and Acquisition to the Sales Teams that choose the Remarketing Wholesale Channel or the Retail Sales Channel to obtain the maximum return on our vehicle investment. 

As an Engineer 2, Test Automation, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Vehicle Solutions QA and Development team(s). You will create and maintain automated test scripts and test data, execute automated test suites, and evaluate requirements to determine automation coverage. You will participate in code reviews of automated test code, debug automated test code, provide estimates for assignments, and assist with sprint planning activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for designing, producing, executing, and maintaining manual test plans and test cases.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated knowledge of source control methodologies and proficiency in tools such as Git or Bitbucket

Qualifications

Required:

  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Must reside in St. Louis, Missouri, or immediate surrounding area
  • 3+ years of experience designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test cases across client-server, web applications, and web services based on business and technical requirements
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber)
  • Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman) and automation of API and UI testing
  • Experience writing and executing SQL queries for validation and testing
  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented programming
  • Experience with working in an Agile/Scrum development environment in sprint teams, using tools such as Jira, Zephyr, and Confluence
  • Testing on mobile tablet (Android, IOS)
  • Experience with the Atlassian suite to include Jira, Zephyr, and Confluence preferred
