This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, which includes the ability to work from home, while also requiring to be in person as needed at our Lakeside and/or Clayton Corporate HQ campus locations in St. Louis, Missouri.

Responsibilities

It is an exciting time to join the Vehicle Solutions team. Vehicle Solutions is responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of multiple Vehicle applications and services, which are utilized by various other business and IT domains. This IT Manager will lead a team of IT Engineers, focusing on developing their skills and enhancing productivity. Additionally they will be responsible for cross-team collaboration, gaining alignment, and ensuring deliverable deadlines are met

 

As the IT Manager of Product Delivery with a focus on Remarketing, we are seeking an exceptional and proactive leader who will lead by example, embraces a Product-centric Mindset focused on outcomes and ensures that every decision and action drives value and long-term success. You will be responsible for defining the goals, objectives, processes, and resources to support the overall strategic vision of the Vehicle Solutions team. You will be responsible for building the IT Product Roadmap for Vehicle Remarketing Solutions to ensure the health and security of the multiple Products within this Solution while collaborating with other IT, Product and Business Teams to identify, mitigate and resolve production issues. You will be responsible for people management activities including career planning/support, training, interviewing, hiring, rewarding, disciplining, performance, and salary reviews.  You will be responsible for developing and retaining strong performers and preparing them for future responsibilities. You will play a critical role in production health and support and will be responsible for managing a diverse team of professionals including Engineers. You will also help identify, develop, and implement policies, standards and procedures that support team activities and lead individuals in adhering to and supporting team procedures.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Must reside in St. Louis, Missouri, or immediate surrounding area
  • 6+ years of related experience
  • 2+ years of IT project management experience
  • 2+ years of experience leading and motivating teams in an IT Production Support environment
  • Experience having direct reports where you are responsible for 1 on 1's, employee development, hiring, and performance management  
  • Experience leading an application development team  
  • Experience in large scale or high transactional volume applications
  • Understanding of all phases of the software development lifecycle
  • Must have a flexible schedule to accommodate periodic after-hours and weekend response to incidents when necessary
  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
