As we continue to build a team who drives us forward, Enterprise Mobility's Communications Department is excited to announce the opening for a Communications Manager – Corporate! 

 

We are looking for a passionate and experienced leader to join our Global Communications team at Enterprise Mobility. As a Corporate Communications Manager, you will play an important role in helping position Enterprise Mobility to support overall business growth. This role will lead the creation of meaningful and impactful public relations efforts for Enterprise Mobility, as well as the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo brands. Additionally, this role will support key executive communication activations and broader public affairs efforts. This position is a highly collaborative role with strong partnerships across communications, marketing and operations to ensure communications efforts align to business priorities, positively impact brand metrics and continue to position the organization as a global mobility leader.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and delivery of high-impact communications strategies ensuring messages and programs are consistent with business goals, objectives, and values  
  • Provide communications counsel and support to key business partners, working collaboratively to ensure communications strategies are fully aligned to meet critical business and foundation priorities  
  • Write clear, concise copy, as well as providing creative direction for presentations, case studies, articles, white papers, videos, and/or collateral material  
  • Work as a subject-matter expert on select issues in relation to specific areas of business while maintaining current knowledge of matters and current events impacting Enterprise Mobility more broadly  
  • Serve as an integral part of the communications team, providing input to define, refine, and measure impact of communication strategies; be a collaborative, reliable team member, stepping in to support team initiatives as needed  
  • Remain current with communications trends, tools, and best practices  
  • Establish and maintain relationships with a broad network of internal stakeholders to foster two-way communication  
  • The ability to operate as part of a global and matrixed team
 

  • Lead proactive public relations strategies to create and maintain a positive public image of Enterprise Mobility, as well as its brands; This includes public relations efforts to support key brand campaigns and loyalty programs as part of broader integrated marketing and communications strategies  
  • Collaborate with international marketing to support global franchise promotion  
  • Serve as a public and official company spokesperson; manage, research, and respond to print, online, and broadcast media queries on a timely basis  
  • Build and foster relationships with media on behalf of the company to drive earned media coverage for Enterprise Mobility, its brands, and business lines  
  • Media train and prepare spokespeople to participate in key publicity campaigns  
  • Manage and coordinate with public relations agencies as an extension of the corporate communications team for a wide variety of projects and programs

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, or English
  • Must have six (6+) years or more of corporate communications, public relations, and/or agency experience
  • Significant corporate and brand public relations experience with proven track record working with top-tier media to secure stories that advance company priorities and reputation
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
