This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, which includes the ability to work from home, while also requiring to be in person as needed at our Lakeside and/or Clayton Corporate HQ campus locations in St. Louis, Missouri.

Responsibilities

Enterprise Fleet Management (EFM) is expanding its Data Services Reporting team with an exciting opportunity for a new IT Manager.  The Data Services team is responsible for a suite of cloud applications that include Looker, Snowflake, Atlan, and Matillion technologies hosted in AWS.  Together, these data solutions will help EFM operate and grow our business as a leader in the Fleet Management industry.

 

As an IT Manager with EFM, you will be responsible for managing the execution of operational, tactical, and strategic initiatives on a day-to-day basis.  You will ensure all team members are effectively utilized and provide leadership to define, analyze, and deliver quality solutions.  You will be responsible for building trust to influence others, prioritizing tasks, identifying and resolving roadblocks, and providing project timelines and oversight.  Here you’ll have the opportunity to work across multiple teams to help deliver innovative solutions in support of EFM’s technology strategy. 

 

As an IT Manager with EFM, you will be responsible for defining the goals, objectives, processes, and resources to support Data Services.  Additional responsibilities include developing a team, career planning/support, training, interviewing, hiring, rewarding, disciplining, and conducting performance and salary reviews.  This is an ideal role for a leader looking to make a significant impact while developing and growing a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Must reside in St. Louis, Missouri, or immediate surrounding area.
  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
  • 6+ years of related experience  
  • 3+ years of experience managing application development teams 
  • Proven success leading, mentoring, and motivating team members to maximize their potential and deliver high quality results and solutions 
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field
  • Experience having direct reports where you are responsible for 1-on-1s, employee development, hiring, and performance management 
  • Experience with reporting platforms such as Looker, PowerBI, Tableau, or Oracle Business Intelligence
  • Experience with data visualizations
  • Knowledge of data warehouse concepts 
  • Experience with ServiceNow or other enterprise ITSM
  • Experience working in AWS cloud environment 
  • Experience overseeing a work queue such as JIRA, ServiceNow, etc.    
  • Participating or facilitating production outage troubleshooting sessions and providing root-cause explanations to leadership
