As we continue to build our team in support of our vision to the be the world’s best and most trusted mobility company, Enterprise Fleet Management, a business line of Enterprise Mobility is excited to announce the opening of multiple opportunities available for Tax Accounting Summer Interns to work within our corporate Accounting Department!

 

Program Highlights:

  • Multifaceted Tax Experience: Interns will work alongside our team members to gain exposure to a variety of indirect taxes, including Sales & Use Tax, Property Tax, and other specialized tax programs, and develop an understanding of how those taxes impact our broader accounting functions.
  • Peer Collaboration: Interns will work closely with one another on meaningful tax projects and are empowered to create strategies and processes that align with both individual strengths and team dynamics, fostering a collaborative, hands-on learning environment.
  • Mentorship & Feedback: Each intern is paired with a current accounting supervisor as well as our trainers who provide guidance, support, and regular feedback to foster growth and development throughout the program.
  • Professional Development: Interns are expected to demonstrate professionalism in all interactions and maintain a high level of attention to detail. Time management skills are essential, as interns will be responsible for meeting deadlines and balancing multiple assignments.

 

This is a hybrid position reporting to our Fleet Operations center at 2281 Ball Dr., St. Louis, MO 63146. This role will be Monday - Friday (40 hours per week) from May/June - August 2026 with a requirement to work in office 2 to 3 days per week and a starting pay of $20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in sales tax accounting matters and new system implementation
  • Work across department lines to assist with license and titling tax implications

  • Assist personal property tax team in working different state reports

  • Communicate with external subject matter experts for tax research projects

  • Research and correct invoice/billing matters

  • Perform miscellaneous administrative job duties, as needed

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications include:

  • Must live in the Greater St. Louis Metropolitan area during the summer of 2026
  • A Junior or above, enrolled full-time for the Fall 2026 semester in a college or university
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Must have completed one “Intro to Accounting” class or equivalent
  • 3 months administrative experience and/or 6 months customer service experience preferred
  • Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office Products
  • Ability to work Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week from May/June - August 2026
  • Must have the ability to meet all work from home technical requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

Work from Home (WFH) Requirements:

  • Terrestrial cable or fiber internet connections are strongly preferred.  Satellite internet connections are not supported
  • High-speed Internet connection with a minimum validated upload speed of 5Mb and download speed of 25Mb is required.  Connection latency must be less than 100ms.  (Please validate using a speed test tool such as http://www.speedtest.net/
