Overview

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a full time Vehicle Delivery Technician. The Vehicle Delivery Technician will perform pre-delivery inspection (PDI) for all incoming new and used car arrivals, handle license plate installs, inspect and process deletes with Final Check In, and assist with other basic Vehicle Acquisition administrative functions.

 

This position pays $18.00 / hour and is located at our offsite airport service center located at 1195 Lance Rd., Norfolk, VA 23502.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-fleet servicing on new vehicles according to company required procedures and utilizing the delivery checklist.
  • Inspect new vehicle deliveries from transporter for damages and/or missing parts and complete the delivery receipt as required by the manufacturer.
  • Pull license plates for arrived units, install units, print VIN prints, and put plates on cars.
  • Keep new car section of lot organized and responsible for maintaining inventory.  Move cars as need to keep lot organized and utilize space efficiently.
  • Vehicle De/Fueling
  • Vehicle Appraising
  • Perform new car inventories as needed.
  • Perform all in-fleet servicing of new vehicle stock as needed on the overflow lots.
  • Assist all EAN divisions with the process and steps necessary to remove vehicles from the facility.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as required.
  • Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality.
  • Ensure efficiency of incoming and outgoing vehicles by working as a team.
  • Perform light maintenance duties as needed. (i.e. jump starts, tire changes) 
  • Complete fuel reclamation

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 convicted moving violations in the last 3 years(No more than 8 points on record).
  • No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record (DWI/DUI) in the past 3 years
  • Must be able to work outdoors (parking lot and garage) in the elements with long periods of standing.
  • Apart from religious observation, must be able to work the following schedule:  Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (Some weekend / holidays may be required)

Qualified candidates should also possess the following:

  • Knowledge of mechanical service procedures to perform light maintenance activities
  • Be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills
  • Have strong time management and organizational skills
