Overview

 

The Enterprise brand of Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a Lot Attendant for our Remarketing Division located at 714 Division Street Elizabeth, NJ 07201

 

The Lot Attendant is responsible for organizing and maintaining the vehicles on the lot, including cleaning and washing. The Lot Attendant may also move and position vehicles to various designated locations for servicing, transport and/or rental. The Lot Attendant will perform all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards

 

The pay for this position is $17.50 / hour and Employees can earn yearly merit increases based on performance.

The schedule is:

  • Monday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
  • Tuesday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
  • Wednesday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
  • Thursday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
  • Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm

Responsibilities

General Responsibilities

• Check in vehicles (daily)
• Take off plates, E-Z pass and insurance/registration and secure.
• Cover any open compartments with automobile crash wrap.
• Secure all loose parts and store in vehicle.
• Maintain vehicle control (controlling the parking of deletes)
• Move vehicles to different areas of the lot (sold vehicles, etc..)
• Lot organization-in a safe and efficient manner
• Interaction and coordination with tow vendors and dealers
• Maintain and organize key of security measure
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned to include helping tow vendors and dealers

Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions

• Limited to light physical effort is required including the handling of average-weight objects (up to 10 pounds).
• Generally, it requires a great deal of standing for long periods of time, walking, and bending.
• Requires the ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Requires some flexibility in working hours

Qualifications

  • The ability to operate a motor vehicle is an essential function of this position. Applicants must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license issued by a US State or Territory
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship from our company for an employment based work permit or other work authorization document now or in the future
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Must be living within a reasonable commute of no more than 1 hour from this location
  • Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

New Jersey DMV Requirements:

First-time drivers and under 21 years old:

If you are a first-time driver and under age 21, you must complete the mandatory Graduated Driver License (GDL) program requirements.  New Jersey's GDL program introduces driving privileges gradually to first-time drivers and individuals under the age of 21.
