As we continue to build our team in support of our vision to be the world’s best and most trusted mobility company, the Marketing Department has an immediate opening for a Senior Marketing Operations & Campaign Automation Specialist to join the team!

 

The Senior Marketing Operations & Campaign Automation Specialist is a strategic contributor responsible for leading the development, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms and customer segments. This role supports both B2B and B2C digital marketing initiatives, spanning the full customer journey—from initial consideration through to conversion and retention—across daily rental brands and additional lines of business.

 

As a senior member of the team, this individual acts as a digital marketing subject matter expert and thought partner, delivering strategic insight and hands-on leadership in campaign design, journey orchestration, and multi-channel activation. This includes partnering cross-functionally with Marketing, Business Operations, IT, and external agencies to architect integrated digital experiences that drive measurable business outcomes.

 

This role requires a strong passion for data-driven marketing, with the ability to translate insights into action. The Specialist Senior will not only drive campaign performance but will also provide guidance, mentorship, and influence on digital marketing best practices, evolving capabilities, and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and deployment of marketing communications and campaigns through automation platforms supporting initiatives and demand generation efforts across a tri-brand portfolio  
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for campaign operation and marketing automation capabilities, opportunities, and best practices, providing recommendations to optimize customer relationship management (CRM), campaign management, and marketing automation platforms  
  • Design, execute, and optimize all aspects of the campaign operations process, including: requirements gathering and documentation, list development and segmentation, content creation and personalization, customer journey workflows, quality assurance testing, campaign execution and automation, inbox deliverability, and measurement  
  • Make well-informed segmentation and targeting decisions, tailoring communications messages to relevant customer personas at relevant purchasing cycle stages  
  • Plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks, program schedules, and project deliverables by adapting to change, prioritizing workload, and meeting deadlines successfully  
  • Work with stakeholders to define process improvements and enable marketing campaign automation to increase campaign efficiency and effectiveness  
  • Manage external partners and support the administration of the marketing automation platform(s)  
  • Test and optimize campaigns for improved efficiency, deliverability, engagement, and performance  
  • Provide insights to internal and external partners on new functionality within the marketing automation platform(s); as well as recommendations to streamline processes, create synergies, and enhance performance  
  • Maintain current knowledge of channel best practices, laws (e.g. CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, CCPA, TCPA etc.), and data governance policies to meet all compliance requirements  
  • Create documentation and training materials for campaign automation related processes in marketing operations 
  • Evaluate new technology features and integrations, adapting and enhancing technology skills to advance the campaigning ecosystem and quickly respond to market opportunities

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Must have 5+ years of direct Marketing Campaign Automation platform experience (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Dynamics 365 Marketing, SAS Customer Intelligence, Pardot, Adobe Campaign, Marketo, or similar)
  • Must have 5+ years’ experience in the technical aspects of Marketing Campaign Management and Automation 
  • Experience in management of third-party vendors and internal leaders
  • Experience analyzing key market metrics to develop actionable insights
  • Experience with coding languages (ie, SQL, AMPscript, GTL or JSON)
  • Experience with list development and segmentation, email creation, test and control strategies, quality assurance testing and troubleshooting, email deployment, and automation
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
