This new position will oversee accuracy and integrity of the performance financial statement and accounting schedules for all Fleet Management Groups as well as financial statements for external users (in accordance with FASB standards).

Responsibilities

  • Lead accounting functions for EFM including accounting systems/applications, financial statements/schedules, forecasting, policies and procedures, financial reporting, analysis and presentation to Executive Management
  • Take an active role in the EFM asset backed financing transactions and compliance
  • Provide leadership, guidance and support the development of administrative employees and field personnel
  • Partner with Corporate Finance Managers and other business leaders to improve overall business results
  • Serve as the primary contact for EFM’s external auditors
  • Develop key relationships within Enterprise Mobility (External Reporting, Forecasting, Payroll, Treasury, Tax) to enable successful identification, development and implementation of strategic solutions
  • Assess department business risks and implement controls to minimize impact
  • Provide guidance on Business Practices by ensuring policies, procedures and founding values are understood and followed
  • Continual process improvement analysis and implementation
  • Lead special projects to ensure organizational objectives are achieved

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Eight (8) or more years of accounting/finance experience
  • Four (4) or more years managerial experience in accounting or finance
  • Currently reside in St. Louis Metro area
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles required
  • Solid understanding of Excel and accounting/operational systems required
