Overview

As we continue to build our team in support of our vision to be the world’s best and most trusted mobility company, we are excited to announce the opening of a Human Resources Generalist/Talent Development Manager for the Support Services Division of Enterprise Mobility. 

 

The Human Resources Generalist/Talent Development Manager will have oversight of approximately 900 employees as well as supporting partnerships and training content for contractors across six countries for the Contact Center division.  The HRGTD will directly manage two Human Resources Generalist Managers and a Talent Development Manager. Their teams include four Human Resources professionals and four Talent Development Specialists 

 

In addition, the Human Resources Generalist/Talent Development Manager will be responsible for performance management, legal compliance, retention, development, pro-employee philosophy culture, DE&I, payroll, compensation, and any additional employee-related situations. This position will act as a strategic business partner to their management teams to create training and development plans to allow our employees to be successful.  Minimizing legal risk is also an important component of this role. 

 

This position will primarily be based out of our office in Weldon Springs but could also work out of our Maryland Heights and Corporate Campus location.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to HR employees and their respective management teams on the right courses of action to take to limit exposure and maintain employee engagement, which includes developing and directing legal prevention plans 
  • Act as a strategic business partner to management and other support teams by making recommendations to help reduce costs and increase employee engagement 
  • Develop and direct plans for successful HR campaigns  
  • Interpret and apply state/federal employment laws as well as company policies and procedures 
  • Oversee the design of training materials based on instructional design methods, adult learning principles, and other training methodologies 
  • Direct the development of measurable talent development programs including follow-up strategies to reinforce and evaluate transfer of training skills and knowledge to the job, using brand-specific software, while supporting the overall strategic business plan 
  • Direct the facilitation of interactive training sessions that meet the learning needs of a diverse and remote audience 
  • Responsible for managing, and at times developing, key HR programs and initiatives that will align to the business unit  
  • Support employees in various in-person, hybrid, and remote work settings on all HR needs  
  • Prepare reports (including Workday queries); compile and analyze data for actionable information and management decisions  
  • Conduct special projects and ad-hoc reporting as needed  
  • Protect our customers, our employees, and our brands by incorporating security and compliance in all decisions and daily job responsibilities; follow security policies and procedures; continuously identify and recommend opportunities for improving security

Qualifications

Required: 

  • 10+ years of related HR experience, playing the role of an HR Specialist or Generalist  
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field 
  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future 
  • Must reside in St. Louis, Missouri, or immediate surrounding area 
  • Previous experience and strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA and Legal Compliance  
  • Well-versed with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) 
  • Strong ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and keep issues confidential   
  • Tenacious, diplomatic, highly flexible, collaborative, well-organized and detail-oriented  
  • Strong listener, with solid communication and facilitation skills, and the ability to communicate at all levels within the organization 

 

Preferred: 

  • PHR/SHRM certification  
  • Technical competence in HR related tools such as Workday, Dayforce, etc. 
  • Experience working for a company with 500+ employees
