Overview

Enterprise Mobility has an immediate opening for a Receptionist based out of our administrative office in Birmingham, AL.

 

The Receptionist will welcome visitors and callers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, and answer or refer inquiries. This person will direct visitors, maintain employee and department directories, and give information and directions. This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, friendly, and outgoing to be the first person in contact with our customers, vendors, and visitors. The ideal candidate would posses a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and professional demeanor.

 

The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday: 8am - 5pm CST

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage a multi-line phone (30-40 incoming calls per hour) in an expedient and efficient manner
  • Update and maintain the switchboard manual and the Group/Regional phone list
  • Maintain conference room calendars as well as lobby and conference room appearance
  • Interact with all levels of management
  • Answer and direct phone calls to proper department/division/person
  • Greet visitors in a friendly and professional manner; direct visitors to the proper department/division/person while maintaining appropriate logs
  • Maintain proper security logs as policies and procedures dictate
  • Maintain internal company listing of the directory and/or a hard copy
  • May perform or assist with other clerical duties as needed by various departments
  • May coordinate transportation or taxi service and complete department billing documents, as needed
  • May assist various departments with directing employees to meeting locations
  • May assist with ensuring proper messages are activated on the phone system
  • May create and post appropriate marquee signage/communication 
  • May schedule food vendors for facility
  • Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
  • Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have a minimum of 2+ years of experience as a receptionist and/or administrative support role
  • Must have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office products
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
