As a Senior Software Engineer (Engineer 2) on the Production support team, you will be responsible for directly assisting the business and users with any production issues ranging from data and code fixes to monitoring logs and ensuring the application is up and running. We are looking for someone with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills and can work well within a team with other engineers.
In this role on the Risk Management department, you will use your skills of problem solving, verbal and written communication, and being detail-oriented to assist in coming up with short term solutions to get the business unstuck and identify long term coding, data, and monitoring solutions to improve the applications and user experience. To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience troubleshooting applications with complex architecture behind it – front end, back-end, database, chained API calls and batch jobs. Our tech stack includes Java, SQL databases, JavaScript, and Angular. Additionality, familiarity with ticket management systems like Jira and Service-Now is a plus.
