Overview

Newark Airport National and Alamo has an exciting opportunity for Customer Experience Representative (CXR).

 

The Customer Experience Representative (CXR) provides superior, friendly, and efficient transactions and offering company approved services and products to provide a positive experience for all customers. This position also facilitates the rental process through verification and documentation of all necessary driver information to provide for an efficient and timely rental and return experience.

 

A Customer Experience representative/CXR can be utilized to perform functions of employees within the “Customer Service Group” including but not limited to the position of a Greeter, Exit Booth Agent, Return Agent and/or a Customer Service Agent, so this is a great opportunity to learn all aspects of the airport!  

 

This position pays $19.00 / hour with a potential health-care supplement up to $4.23 / hour and potential additional production bonus.

 

This position is Full time-40 hours located at our Newark Airport location~

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet customers in a professional, friendly, and timely manner
  • Provide superior, efficient customer service by understanding and communicating rental terms and conditions, vehicle features and other services which includes offering optional protection products, upgrades, fuel options and other additional equipment
  • Offer additional customer assistance by offering directions, maps, local area information, and appropriate service information
  • Answer incoming calls for reservations, rate quotes, general questions, provide information and resolution for customers, other branches, and other vendors
  • Place outgoing calls for callback management, and miscellaneous calls as assigned
  • Assist to assess condition of rental upon return
  • Notify Management of any known customer problems
  • Notify Management of any known vehicle problems and any required vehicle maintenance
  • Continuously build knowledge and skills, pursue on the job training and development opportunities and any company sponsored classroom training
  • Perform job related duties as assigned
  • Work in all customer facing work groups including rental counter, exit booth, greeter or return agent.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • Must be willing at accept compensation of $19.00 / hour
  • Must be living within a reasonable commute of no more than 1 hour from this location
  • The ability to operate a motor vehicle is an essential function of this position. Applicants must have a valid unrestricted drivers license
  • Must be able to understand, read, write and speak English
  • Must be available to work 40 hours per week, with availability including days, evenings, overnights and weekends, based on a shift bid.
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year of customer service or sales experience in retail, guest services, or administrative support
