As we continue to build our team in support of our vision to the be the world’s best and most trusted mobility company, Enterprise Fleet Management, a business line of Enterprise Mobility is excited to announce the opening of a Tax Accounting Summer Internship opportunity to work within our corporate Accounting Department!

 

This intern will be exposed to various indirect tax functions and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be professional and detail-oriented.

 

This exciting opportunity is a Hybrid position reporting to our Operations Center in Maryland Heights, MO. This role will be Monday - Friday (40 hours per week) from May/June - August 2025 with a requirement to work in office 2 days per week and a starting pay of $20.00 per hour.

  

Our operations center is located at 2281 Ball Dr. St. Louis, MO 63146.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in sales tax accounting matters and new system implementation
  • Work across department lines to assist with license and titling tax implications

  • Assist personal property tax team in working different state reports

  • Communicate with external subject matter experts for tax research projects

  • Research and correct invoice/billing matters

  • Perform miscellaneous administrative job duties, as needed

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications include:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must live in the Metropolitan St. Louis area or surrounding MO/IL counties during the summer of 2025
  • Must live in the state of MO/IL
  • A Junior or above, enrolled full-time for the Fall 2025 semester in a college or university
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Ability to work Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week from May/June - August 2025
  • Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office Products
  • 3 months administrative experience in an office environment and 6 months customer service experience
  • Must be willing to accept $20.00 per hour
  • Must have the ability to meet all work from home technical requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

Work from Home (WFH) Requirements:

  • Must have reliable and consistent high-speed internet access provided by a terrestrial cable or fiber provider (no DSL or satellite)
  • High-speed Internet connection with a minimum validated upload speed of 5Mb and download speed of 25Mb is required.  Connection latency must be less than 100ms.  (Please validate using a speed test tool such as http://www.speedtest.net/
