Overview

The St. Louis Support Services Division for Enterprise Mobility currently has an exciting opportunity available for a Human Resources Coordinator! This is an excellent position for someone with the desire to expand their knowledge in Leave of Absence laws and beyond. This HR Coordinator will work closely with employees and management in our Support Services Division through the Leave of Absence & Accommodation Team.  Extensive exposure to confidential personnel information requires this person to be extremely trustworthy with the highest level of integrity. 

 

The ideal candidate should be highly task and detail-oriented, organized, possess excellent time management skills and be able to consistently meet deadlines while producing accurate results. We are looking for an extremely reliable individual who can adapt to change, absorb, and apply new information, and who has the determination to learn detailed processes. A background in leave laws, state laws, FMLA, and ADA is a plus. 

  

This will be a hybrid position, requiring both remote and working in-house 2 times per week at our St. Louis office located at 2281 Ball Dr. St. Louis, MO 63146. The schedule is Monday-Friday with start times ranging between 6:30am-7:30am CST.  The starting pay offered would be $25.34/hour. Responsibilities

  • Manage the new hire onboarding process for the Reservations department  
  • Manage and maintain I-9 records for all employees, including entry into the E-Verify system 
  • Set up, maintain and audit employee physical files 
  • Assist with ongoing training 
  • Provide administrative assistance to HR employees  
  • Manage Leave of Absence claims for all employees with an emphasis on FMLA and ADA 
  • Accurately enter data into Workday, Dayforce, and other reporting systems 
  • Answer questions regarding leaves of absence and accommodations 
  • Prepare materials and host LOA training sessions 
  • Handle inquiries from employees regarding benefits, policies, etc. 
  • Assist with groupwide reporting

  • Ability to take initiative, multi-task and problem solve while maintaining extreme attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must possess strong customer service skills with quick and thorough response time to employee questions

Qualifications

  • Must live in the state of Missouri and be willing and able to travel to the St. Louis office 2 days per week  
  • Minimum (1) one year of recent Human Resources experience required 
  • Bachelor's degree (degree in HR a plus) required 
  • Leave of absence experience (knowledge of FMLA/ADA/state laws and processes) preferred 
  • Must be comfortable with handling and sorting physical personnel paper files in office 
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and have the ability to bend, kneel and/or reach as needed
  • Previous WorkDay experience a plus 
  • Permanent residence with a defined working space that is free of distractions from any background noise including but not limited to sounds from animal/pets, TVs, radios, and children or other adults in the home
    • Working from home is not designed or intended to be a replacement for appropriate adult or child dependent care
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future 
  • Must be at least 18 years old
