Overview

We have an opening for a Building Maintenance Technician!

 

This is a Level 1 position reporting to Jon Zuccola. The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general maintenance and repair of building assets. This position is also responsible for  basic maintenance and organization to ensure that facilities and equipment are in good condition at all times for customers and employees.

 

The pay for this role is $17.60 / hour (may pay more based on experience)

 

Must be willing to work the following schedule:

Monday - Thursday: 8:00am to 5:00pm (1 hour lunch break)

Responsibilities

  • Routine general maintenance and repair work such as light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, carpet/floor cleaning, and snow and ice removal
  • Timely completion of work orders generated by call-in requests or preventive maintenance schedule
  • Perform duties of the company’s preventative maintenance program
  • Troubleshoot general problems
  • Move items as needed (i.e. furniture, file cabinets, boxes, artwork etc.)
  • Delivery of office and building supplies
  • Small appliance and equipment installation (pressure washers, air compressors, etc…)
  • Working outside in all types of weather and temperatures and in a typical office environment
  • Use a variety of equipment: a large assortment of vehicles, safety belts, 2-way radio or cellular phone, phone system, computer/tablet, printer, fax, and various tools

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required 
  • Building Maintenance experience preferred
  • Must have a valid US driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years, and no drug or alcohol related incidents within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
