The Credit Analyst reviews and analyzes corporate and tour/travel customer credit applications recommending approval and terms or denial, requiring a high attention to detail, timeliness and accuracy working in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment. 

This position will be working in Tulsa, OK with a flexible work arrangement combining home and in-office for training. Working hours will be Monday through Friday with flexible start and end times for an 8 hour workday that cover the core hours of 9:00am-3:00pm.

This position is located at 14002 21st. St. Tulsa, OK.

• Review and Analyze Corporate and Tour/Travel customer credit applications, obtaining the information necessary to determine and recommend credit worthiness
• Analyze financial statements, annual reports, P&L statements, cash and asset inventories and other credit related reports to determine applicable credit limits and/or security deposits needed
• Respond to questions, requests and inquiries from sales, customers and internal departments throughout the process of approving or denying credit
• Communicate approval or denial information to applicant and prepare approval letter
• Monitor and maintain security logs
• Participate in process improvements and support other management directives as prescribed
• Monitor and work bankruptcy inquiries, researching to identify any open accounts and filing claims for payments due direct with bankruptcy courts
• Periodically monitor assigned new accounts to ensure credit arrangement is appropriate; make a recommendation on a course of action with the account.

• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Previous experience analyzing financial statements and conducting quantitative analysis required
• Previous corporate credit experience preferred
• 1 year Credit Experience Required
• Proficient knowledge of Excel
• Apart from religious observations, must be able to work Monday-Friday 40 hours/ work week
• Must be willing to accept starting pay of $53,300/year.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to apply basic accounting principles in the interpretation of customer financial statements
• Working knowledge of Accounting Systems (PeopleSoft, Odyssey, etc.) preferred
• Working knowledge of credit reports, especially Experian
• Ability to apply knowledge in a fast moving, dynamic, and changing environment
• Working knowledge & interpretation of company financial reports
• Ability to handle high-pressure environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain strong lines of communication with other departmental managers
• Must have high attention to detail, timeliness and accuracy within a fast paced environment
