Overview

The Lot Attendant at BOS will be responsible for directing Drivers as to fleet movement on the Ready Line.  These individuals will work closely with the Rental team to determine what vehicles are needed when and where and then will instruct Drivers to position vehicles accordingly.  Due to the high volume of movement and constantly changing priorities that can and will arise, the selected candidate must possess excellent verbal communication skills and have a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team oriented environment. 

The starting pay rate is $15.50 / hour. A comprehensive benefits package is available including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid vacation time and paid holidays, profit sharing, and 401(k) with company match.

 

There are three separate schedules available - each includes a 30 minute meal break:

 

Schedule 1:  Sunday through Thursday from 7am-3:30pm 

Schedule 2:  Tuesday through Saturday from 3pm-11:30pm  

Schedule 3:  Sunday & Monday from 3pm-11:30pm and Thursday, Friday, & Saturday from 7am-3:30pm

Responsibilities

The Full Time Lot Attendant will be responsible for the following:      

  • Directing Drivers as to fleet movement on the Ready Line
  • Working closely with the Rental team to determine what vehicles are needed when and where and then will instruct Drivers to position vehicles accordingly
  • Lot Security
  • Controlling the parking of inventory
  • Organization of the parking lot(s) and inventory
  • Inventory tracking and reconciliation
  • Location of keys for units being moved
  • Interaction and coordination with transport drivers 
  • Tracking of outgoing inventory
  • May be asked to clean vehicles
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

    • Must possess excellent verbal communication skills
    • Must have a demonstrated track record of working effectively in a team setting
    • Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents within the last 3 years
    • Must have no drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the last 5 years
    • Must be willing and able to work outdoors in the elements with long periods of standing, kneeling, and bending
    • Must be able to tolerate light physical effort including the handling of average-weight objects (up to 25 pounds)
    • Apart from religious observation, must be able to work either:

      • Sunday through Thursday from 7am-3:30pm

      • Tuesday through Saturday from 3pm-11:30pm

      • Sunday & Monday from 3pm-11:30pm and Thursday, Friday, & Saturday from 7am-3:30pm
