The Creative Director develops the strategy and leads a team of professionals in the creative process from initial concept development through implementation across the full range of marketing channels. Additionally, the Creative Director will partner with Portfolio & Delivery Management Team on briefing and directing the creative work product of external agencies – including; TV/video advertising assets, digital, email, print, and collateral, and sales support for the US and Canada. This position collaborates regularly with internal marketing departments, Global Content team, and European marketing teams to ensure strategic alignment and creative continuity; as well as delivery of assets within financial and timing expectations.

This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in Clayton, MO.


  • Lead the creative strategy and execution in concert with key internal stakeholders and outside agency partners to bring the brand to life across initiatives, channels and products. Use this strategy to guide the priorities and output of internal creative team.
  • Oversee teams in brainstorming, creative concepting and development. Iterate based on internal collaboration and feedback to ensure creative meets requirements from business objective, operational and brand perspectives. Maintain consistency of style and tone.
  • Collaborate within Marketing management, review and selection of agency partners to ensure partners are deliverables and objectives are met.
  • Lead, coach and mentor direct reports to develop and enhance their skills. Edits others work, offering feedback in a way that fosters growth and supports clear, concise and correct marketing assets. Prioritizes and manages workload for self and direct reports in a fast-paced environment.
  • Present creative work to internal stakeholders in a manner that persuades and enhances understanding at all levels; while articulating conceptual and directional choices.
  • Develop and maintain quality standards - review team members’ work for grammar, syntax and brand identity. Proofs creative both before it is presented and prior to deployment to ensure accuracy, consistency and completeness.
  • Develop, adapt, and work with the Enterprise Holding brand vision and standards; adjusting and flexing where needed in order to deliver effective work that stays on brand.
  • Lead change management efforts for media and creative suppliers in the event a partner change is required.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration process with and in support of other marketing workgroups (e.g., Brand Publicity, Procurement, Employee Communications, Public Relations, Database, Information Technology) and corporate groups (e.g. Senior Management, Operations, Training).

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Ten (10+) or more years of Corporate Marketing or Design Agency experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
  • Five (5+) or more years of Creative leadership, managing both copy and design. 
  • Expertise in graphic design with application in digital, video, print and other multi-media formats  
  • Extensive expertise working in asset builders such as the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to attract, develop and retain top creative talent 
  • Extensive portfolio demonstrating success in B2C and B2C audiences
