Overview

 

Enterprise Fleet Management, an affiliate of Enterprise Rent-A-Car, currently has a new and exciting opportunity for an Automotive Service Advisor.  This is a great way to bring your automotive knowledge into a professional environment!

 

The Service Advisor position provides full automotive technical advice and support to Fleet Management Groups, clients and vendors, providing a high level of customer service and building relationships.  This position is responsible for reviewing repair orders for both scheduled maintenance and unscheduled repairs to ensure proper intervals, repair service operations, and pricing.  The Service Advisor ensures our fleet is properly maintained and repaired while minimizing downtime and maintenance costs.  The ideal candidate will possess extensive automotive and/or truck knowledge, strong customer service and negotiating skills.

 

This is a full-time remote work opportunity open to residents living in Phoenix, AZ. 

 

Schedules can vary as our business is open Monday-Friday 6am to 9pm and Saturday 7am-4pm.

This position has a starting pay of $21.39 per hour.  Additional compensation will be provided for weekend and evening shift differential (up to $1.75/hour) and bilingual skills (up to $1.00/hour). This position also has the opportunity to earn an additional $0.25/hr for each current ASEs in this list: A1-9,T1-8,F1,L1,L2, C1, X1 & E1-3 (25 ASE max, up to $6.25/hour).

Enterprise Fleet Management is a full-service fleet management company for businesses with mid-size fleets. With over 50 fully staffed offices nationwide, EFM supplies cars, light and medium duty trucks and service vehicles to businesses in the United States and Canada.

 

Fleet Operations is a Corporate Administrative office that supports the growth of the Fleet Management Groups nationwide with lease vehicle acquisition, maintenance, accident repair, insurance tracking, and license & title services. Our Fleet Accounting team also prepares financial statements and general ledger schedules for all the Fleet Management Groups.

 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide timely response to repair orders submitted by phone and email, in an efficient and friendly manner
  • Review proposals to ensure proper repair and maintenance services are performed according to manufacturers' recommendations, interval-based timing, and appropriate pricing for suggested services
  • Negotiate pricing, assess and apply proper warranty and post-warranty applications while creating, issuing, and explaining purchase orders according to our operating procedure
  • Contact clients to provide recommendations, explain proposed procedures, and gain approval
  • Make recommendations to Groups for full maintenance service proposals, repairs charged to the clients, and opportunities to cycle vehicles in favor of repair
  • Locate and suggest proper service locations for clients

Qualifications

  • Minimum of four approved ASE certifications that are current
  • Must reside in Phoenix, AZ 
  • Minimum 1 year of experience/technical knowledge in an automotive and/or truck dealership service department or repair facility required, 2 years preferred
  • Six months of customer service experience required
  • Basic PC knowledge and typing skills
  • Must be willing to accept starting pay of $21.39 plus an additional .25 for each current ASE certification
  • Must have the ability to meet all work from home technical requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

Work from Home (WFH) Requirements:

  • Must have a permanent residence in Phoenix, AZ 
  • Have permanent residence with defined working space (home office, spare bedroom, etc.) that is clean, ventilated and quiet
  • Working space with working smoke detector, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit

Work from Home (WFH)Technical Requirements: 

  • Computer running a mainstream supported version of Windows or MacOS (currently Windows 7+ or MacOS 12+)
  • Minimum of 4GB RAM (the cloud based system will use a minimum of 1G RAM)
  • High-speed Internet connection with a minimum validated upload and download speed of 3Mb or greater (please validate using a speed test tool such as http://www.speedtest.net/)
  • Working web camera for virtual collaboration.
  • Workstations should connect directly to the ISP router using an Ethernet cable (wireless connections are allowed but be aware of signal strength, interference, and other factors)
  • Apple or Android smartphone is needed to download the Authenticator app (must be running a current mainstream supported operating system and Internet browser version)
  • Internet browsers: Internet Explorer, Edge, Chrome, Firefox, or Safari
  • Anti-virus software must be installed and kept running at all times (included w/ Windows 10)
  • Operating system patches must be installed and kept up to date
