    Responsibilities

    The Rental Ops and Services Team is responsible for the business applications that support the reservations and rental fulfillment processes of over 1 million vehicles in US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Germany, France and Spain. We work closely with our Business Stakeholders from around the globe, for all of our brands, to make enhancements to our applications and to stay ahead in our ever evolving global operations.  Rental Ops and Services Team is excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join the Team.

     

    The Senior Business Analyst plays a critical role in the application development lifecycle and is responsible for developing, interpreting, reviewing, validating, documenting, and maintaining business and functional requirements across various applications and application teams.  In this position, you will collaborate with key business stakeholders and evaluate business requests to determine feasibility, research, and identify options that best serve business needs.  You will present information and track and respond to questions related to business standards.  You will collaborate with subject matter experts from across the EHI organization as well as vendors to provide a rental solution for our partners.  In addition, you will participate in acceptance testing, identifying potential problems, and assisting with researching opportunities to minimize complexity.  You will serve as the primary interface between the business, managers, and engineers to implement new functionality and modifications, meeting all development, PII and PCI security standards.  This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your strong analysis skills working in a fast paced work environment.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
    • 3+ years of IT Business Analysis experience required
    • Experience with developing, interpreting, reviewing, validating, documenting, and maintaining business and functional requirements
    • Experience coordinating and facilitating meetings to define key capabilities and requirements that will enable stakeholders to define business strategy
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Comfortable preparing and delivering informal and formal presentations to own team, other IT teams and business partners
    • Ability to take initiative and drive a plan effectively
    • Excellent at building and maintaining relationships across IT and business partners
    • Ability to be adaptable to your work environment and surroundings
    • Possesses general knowledge of the IT environment
    • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

    Preferred:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred 
    • Experience in Agile methodology is preferred
    • Experience in small to large-scale moderately complex enterprise applications and processes is preferred
    • Develops work plans and strategies for own tasks
    • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL is preferred
    • Ability to look beyond a situation for innovative solutions and ideas
    • Ability to embrace continuous improvements for applications, processes, and teams
