    Turn your current experience and manufacturer certifications into a career with Enterprise!  Enterprise Holdings has an exciting opportunity for an Automotive Technician Apprentice.  Our six month apprenticeship program allows for company supported training and growth, including ASE certification. The Automotive Technician Apprentice performs car service, repair, and preventive maintenance with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards.  Commitment to obtaining 4 ASE certifications within your first six months is required.

     

    This full-time position starts at $20/hour. You will have the potential during the first 6 months to increase to $24/hour with completion of 4 ASE certifications. A comprehensive benefits package is available including Health, Vision and Dental Insurance, paid vacation time and paid holidays, as well as Profit Sharing and 401K with a generous company match. Enjoy the consistency of hourly pay instead of concern over job assignments and work volume!  The required schedule is Sunday from 8am-4:30pm and Monday thru Thursday from 2:30pm-11pm.  A 30 minute break will be given each day. 

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure that all repairs are completed according to the manufacturers specifications and guidelines.
    • Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance.
    • Perform warranty and mechanical repairs on current model domestic and foreign passenger vehicles
    • Maintain the work area in a safe and clean condition.
    • Perform related duties as required.

    Qualifications

    • Must be at least 18 years of age
    • Must have a High School Diploma or GED and two years of automotive technical training at an accredited technical or trade school required, OR a minimum of three years of technical experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles 
    • Must have current manufacturer certified training in at least one brand.
    • Must have a current and valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years 
    • Must not have any drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI)
    • Requires ownership of standard hand tools to perform repairs and maintenance on current vehicles (produced in the last 5 years)
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
    • Must be able to work Sunday from 8am-4:30pm and Monday thru Thursday from 2:30pm-11pm
